Leith Hill is a classic in the Surrey Hills cyclist's repertoire - the soil banks and intertwined trees create a tunnel like experience as you descend or climb.  I find that the soil walls create faces and the light always creates weird patterns - which have all inspired this piece of work based on absracted riders descending at Sunrise

Painted in autumnal colours with copper riders and mettalic highlights on deep box canvas, with a vibrant orange edge.
