About Stuart...
Originally trained as a Mechanical Engineer, I spent 25 years building a career in the consumer goods industry working on everything from soap powder to ice cream, ultimately becoming the CEO of a cheese business.
In 2020, I had a midlife renewal which enabled me to re-design my working life focussing on the things I love to do rather than the things I thought I should do. I now have a portfolio career as an artist (StuART), business coach and mentor (Vibrant Perspective) and as freelance cycling guide - it's a fantastic mix and I love it!
I work from home in Hampton Hill, where I live with my wife, 2 kids and our dog - the area is a fantastic inspiration with the Royal Parks, River Thames and London all on our doorstep.
My inspiration comes from my lifetime being active, whether that be running at school, rowing through University; running Marathons and competing in Triathlons. Nowadays many ideas come when out walking with the dog or training on my bike.
I work in acrylics, and love to use bold, bright colours to bring life and energy to my work. I enjoy to use perspective to take the viewer on a journey through the picture.

I am proud to be the 'Official artist' & 'Friend of the Fred Whitton Challenge'
