The Stelvio Pass is huge – it’s summit is an 1800m+ climb, taking in 48 hairpins ending up at over 2750m elevation.  If you’re lucky to have a warm day in June or July, temperatires art the summit are still going to be single digit, hence the blue theme for this painting.
